Together with the brand 'Sweet Salt', we have carefully placed simple drawings and warm writings that blend softly with each season at the threshold of the seasons throughout the space.
Rather than borrowing the grand framework of an art exhibition, we have meticulously planned this to be a space like a cozy little drawing room, where people can gently share warmth with one another ahead of the coming winter. The precious emotions of the changing seasons are delicately expressed through Sweetsalt's warm illustrations and sentences. We have filled the density of the space with a cozy texture, so that those opening the exhibition door and stepping inside can temporarily forget the cold city air and feel the changing of the seasons in their hearts before their senses.
A small desk to rest your mind:
We believed that the true protagonist of the exhibition is not the artwork filling the walls, but the presence of each and every visitor filling the space.
This is why we meticulously placed a low desk and a lyrical pencil in a corner of the exhibition hall. We wanted to present a cozy time where you can sit quietly, read the hidden minds of those who visited before you, and write down your own precious winter story, pressuring down word by word. It was the most dense device of participation, pausing the speed of digital for a moment, allowing the visitors themselves to add their own records and finally complete the exhibition.
A Wall Filled with Each Other's Warmth:
Each precious story waiting for winter was carefully layered one by one on the exhibition wall through the hands of the visitors.
The wall, which was completely empty at first, gradually became densely filled with fragments of many people's stories over time. Finally, the sight of everyone's posted hearts coming together to form one giant wall brought an even greater comfort and resonance back to us, who had prepared the space in hopes of offering a small consolation to someone on a cold winter day. It was the most beautiful moment of solidarity, where the exhibition was finally completed as our warmth overlapped with one another.
