By reinterpreting the grid structure, a traditional architectural style, to fit the scale of modern furniture, we attempted to bring a neat sense of proportion and new morphological variations to the space.

We aimed to elevate everyday spaces by combining functional furniture, such as storage cabinets and tables, with Korean formative beauty. This furniture collection, which reinterprets the 'lattice' pattern of traditional Korean doors and windows into a modern design language, tones down striking extravagance and matches Korea's unique, elegant light beige with deep wood tones. In doing so, it fully delivers the inherent practicality of furniture while richly infusing everyday spaces with a warm yet intellectual sophistication and a cozy emotion.

[ Gyeokja Series White ] Comfort from the Proportion of LinesSophisticatedly layering natural wood tones and Korea's unique refined off-white, it creates a mood where traditional coziness and modern minimalism coexist.
To provide visual stability, we didn't just repeat a simple, consistent pattern, but also precisely adjusted the ratio between the overall volume of the furniture and the spacing of the lattice. By finding the optimal harmony of sizes that does not cause eye strain, we achieved a structural aesthetic that, when placed in a space, does not stand out but blends in comfortably like a still life painting.

By reinterpreting the lattice patterns of traditional Korean windows and doors into a modern design language, it infuses the space with a warm, intellectual sophistication using elegant ivory tones and deep wood tones instead of stimulating extravagance.
Birch wood, known for its fine grain and sturdiness, was used as the structural material to preserve the neat, unique texture of nature, and a high-gloss paint finish was applied to project a modern depth of light and a luxurious sheen. The thickness of the lattice frame and the proportions of the empty spaces were designed at the most visually stable ratio to complete a structure that brings comfort just by looking at it, and the harmony between traditional sensibilities and high-end finishes elevates the class of the space even further.
